Brother PE500 Vs PE525 Comparison In Detail

Brother has so many embroidery machines in the entry level category and sometimes it creates a lot of confusion. You will be wondering which one to choose. The same is the case with two machines I am going to talk about. The machines are Brother PE500 and PE525. Since the model numbers are pretty close, you can't expect a whole lot of difference in features for sure. But there must be some difference, that's the reason why they come in different model numbers. Let's check out.

Brother PE500 Vs PE525 - Major Feature Differences

Both are embroidery only machines, which come with a maximum embroidery area of 4"x4" with 70 built-in embroidery designs, USB connectivity for importing designs from the internet, 5 fonts for lettering, LCD touchscreen etc. If everything is the same then what is the difference between them?

The obvious difference you can pick straightaway is the difference in front graphics. Brother PE500 has a pink floral graphics in front and on PE525 it is purple. Does that make any difference in your sewing experience? No. Is there any other difference? The answer is no, again. Brother PE500 and PE525 are identical in features. To be precise, PE525 is the newer version and PE500 is the older version.

Editor comment

There is no question about the quality of these two embroidery machines. The stitch quality is excellent. Both are very easy to use, not a lot of learning curve is required. Beginners can start embroidery with ease. Now, I think your mind is clear about the choice.
