Absolutely no difference between features (there is a difference in color of course). Even the weights are same. In terms of performance, it is tie here as well. Both machines are easy to set up. The LCD touch screens are very easy to understand and operate. Stitches look beautiful. There is nothing to complain about these two machines in terms of quality.

What Is The Real Difference ?

The answer to this question makes the difference between spending or saving some dollars. The only difference between Brother PE770 and Designio DZ820E is in the number of accessories you get. What makes DZ820E attractive is the added value package of accessories you get. You will get 2 extra hoops, embroidery starter kit and 200 additional embroidery designs with Designio machine (this package is not available with PE770). So the only thing you need to consider is the extra accessories. If you don't want them, you can go with PE770.

With Designio DZ820E, you can save the pain of searching for compatible accessories. It is a complete package in this regard. On the other hand, if you just want an embroidery machine alone, without those accessories, then PE770 will be a better option.
