Brother SE600 Vs SE625 Comparison In Detail

I have always been a big fan of Brother's sewing and embroidery combo machines, especially the 'SE' series machines. They offer an affordable and user friendly way of getting professional quality finish. Brother SE600 and SE625 are two such machines. Both these machines belong to the same segment, which makes the comparison even more interesting. The question is, what is the actual difference between Brother SE600 and SE625? Or is there any difference at all? Let us find out.

Brother SE600 Vs SE625 - Major Feature Differences

The obvious difference that anyone can pick is the front graphics. The front graphics on Brother SE600 is kind of light grey in color, whereas that on SE625 comes in brown color. If you search for any other feature difference, you will have a tough time. Because all other features are identical. So I am not going to repeat all the common features, as you might already be aware of the features of these two wonderful machines.

The Real Difference

Now the question is, Is that all about this comparison? No, there is a twist to it. At the time of writing this post (as of 23rd Dec 2017), Brother SE625 comes with one extra thing. SE625 comes with an included CD which contains 200 embroidery designs. So technically speaking, the CD separates the two.

So, is it a big deal? Partly yes and partly no. Since both SE600 and SE625 comes with USB port to import the designs you like, you can argue that CD won't make much of a difference. But theoretically, Brother SE625 comes with 200 extra embroidery designs in the box when compared to SE600. So the importance of the designs in the CD cannot be completely ignored. Moreover, the CD contains some good looking designs.

Note : I am not sure whether the CD is a limited period offer or not, nor I don't know whether the CD will make its way into the box of SE600 in future or not. So you are requested to check what comes included in the box at the time of purchasing.

Editor comment

The stitch quality of these two machines is something that needs a special mention. Stitches and letters come out perfect and I love the ease at which you can operate. Since these two machines are technically the same, there is no point in comparing their performance.

As far as the choice is concerned, I will leave it to your personal judgement.
