Brother 1034d is a cute little serger, it is popular in US for its quality and affordability. The main advantage of a serger is that it gives a more finished look than a homemade look. This serger from Brother comes with a dust cover. It comes with a sample thread with which you can test all the options of the serger. The accessory pack contains quite a lot of accessories as well. Two additional feet are included in the accessory pack. It has 25 years limited warranty.

Brother 1034d has a 3/4 lay-in thread system with lower looper threader. The stitch functions on Brother 1034d include 4 thread overlock, 3 thread overlock, narrow hem, rolled hem, and ribbon lock stitches. You can adjust the stitch width and length between 5mm to 7mm from left needle. The color coded threading system aids you in threading the serger easily. You can do free arm sewing by removing the arm. You can switch the knife on/off using the lever provided. The presser foot pressure is adjustable, which provides consistent stitch quality.

The differential fabric feed system on Brother 1034d ensures better stitch quality. No special needles are required for this serger, you can use standard sewing needles. This serger has a stitching speed of up to 1300 stitches/minute.
